While this checklist is quite comprehensive, it is not intended to list every piece of data that could possibly be relevant to the preparation of your tax return or financial statements.  Additionally, in an attempt to provide a comprehensive list, there may be items which are not relevant for your business.  If you have any questions, please contact us.

q Year-end balance and interest information for loans or credit lines payable

q Inventory value (at cost) of inventory in stock on 12/31/09

q Purchase contracts for vehicle and equipment acquisitions

q Personal use percentage of company-owned vehicles

q List of any business expenses paid personally

q Corporate/LLC minutes and/or resolutions

q List of lobbying or political contributions

q Communication with IRS or local taxing agencies

q Year-End payroll summary reports (if self-preparing or using outside service)

q Notes on shareholder, member, or partner ownership changes
